Funding Initiatives
The Foundation works closely with College Staff, Faculty, Administration, and Students to identify and support specific needs that enrich the college community and the learning environment.
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPSA growing number of scholarships have been made available by generous gifts from individual donors. Students unable to meet college expenses through family or personal resources can begin an enriching program through these special gifts.

STUDENT EMERGENCY LOAN FUNDSStudents waiting for grants and scholarships through the Financial Aid Office may need immediate funds for supplies and books. The Emergency Loan Fund is available for these special purposes. The recipient will repay the loan from the awarded grant or scholarship so the fund can continue to help future students.

FACULTY ENRICHMENT GRANTSThese awards benefit outstanding faculty and continue Peninsula College’s record of excellence in faculty development.

GRANTS FOR SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, RESOURCES, AND PROGRAMSEach year the Board of Governors of the Peninsula College Foundation will establish an amount of funds to make available to members of the Peninsula College campus and extension site communities for grants to enhance the College’s ability to fulfill its mission. All full-time and annualized associate faculty and full-time staff will be eligible to apply for Foundation grants.

ATHLETIC PROGRAMSPeninsula College athletes represent the college in the northern region of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges. Through Foundation gifts, the Peninsula College Booster Club provides approximately one-third of the financial support needed to maintain the P.C. Athletic Program, and assists student athletes with a portion of their tuition needs.
Foundation grant funds will not supplant funds in the College’s operating budget.
