Certification: Programs & Schools
All teachers in Washington State must have or be in the process of getting a Washington State Teaching Certificate. One of two kinds of certificates is required: a residency certificate or a professional certificate. Information on getting one of these two kinds of certificates is available at the website of the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
