APA  Documentation  Style

 

 

 

Use APA style in social sciences and natural sciences research papers. References should be listed alphabetically by author’s last name. Entries should be double spaced with no extra space between sources. Indent second and following lines five spaces. For more information on the References list see chapter four of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th ed., 2001).

For information retrieved from a document on the Web, provide Internet address at end of retrieval statement. For information retrieved from an aggregated database, provide the name of the database. No address is needed. Use  available from  to indicate the URL leads to how to obtain the material, rather than to the material itself. Finish the retrieval element with a period, unless it ends with an Internet address.
