C-D 023 DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Did you just receive a new digital camera, and want to start using it? Or, have you had it for a while and know that you're probably not using it correctly? If so, then this course is for you. Whether you are new to the world of digital photography or the long time owner of a digital camera, this course will help guide you through the correct and efficient use of your camera. Topics include image capture, resolution, digital exposure, white balance, ISO, image processing, camera functions, imaging software, printing, archiving, and storage. Bring your camera and camera manual if possible.

C-D 026 USE YOUR DIGITAL CAMERA

Get a hands-on tour of your digital camera's features and define technical terms as you go. The second session will include transferring photographs to a computer, resizing, cropping and printing. Students should bring a digital camera and camera user guide to both sessions.

Scan, crop, enhance, and restore your family photographs with Adobe Photoshop CS3. Share images and stories from your life in a Multimedia presentation. Learn how to add images, titles, narration, music, and transitions to Microsoft Photostory 3 presentations. Publish your photo story for playback on the internet and email to friends and family. Prerequisites: Good computer and file management skills. Washington State clock hours offered.
