Discontinued Attendance

If you discontinue attending a course and do not withdraw officially, the instructor may assign one of two possible grades.

A "VP" grade is assigned if you have accomplished passing work at the time you discontinue attendance. There will be no credit issued for the course, and the grade will not compute into your grade point average.

A "VF" grade is assigned if you have not accomplished passing work at the time you discontinue attendance. There will be no credit issued for the course; however, a decimal grade of "0.0" will be computed into your grade point average. A "VF" grade will, therefore, have an effect on your academic standing with the college.
