The Arts
Peninsula College offers students and community a number of activities and events in the Arts. Among them are Foothills Poetry Series, Studium Generale, Sound of Unity, Tidepools, gallery exhibits, and concerts. In addition, students will find courses in the arts including music, painting, writing, media, drama, literature, art history, photography, and integrated studies.
Foothills Writers Series
The Foothills Writers Series hosts a year-long series of readings by noted authors. Local and regional writers and poets are frequently highlighted, as well as nationally known authors. Readings are free and open to the public.

Studium Generale
Studium Generale offers a variety of programs of current interest in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Sciences. All programs are free and open to the public on a seat availability basis.

Sound of Unity
Sound of Unity sponsors a rich variety of performances by a diverse group of artists. They join us to share the music and dance of their own cultures and lead us to a greater appreciation of the diversity that is reflected on our own campus. Call (360) 417-6345 for more information.

The Magic of Cinema College Film Series
"The Magic of Cinema" is a film series sponsored by Peninsula College with funding from the Peninsula College Foundation and the Associated Student Council. The series seeks to present the range of possibilities of film as an art form through screenings of classics from Art Cinema and Hollywood's Golden Age, as well as contemporary foreign and independent features, and documentaries. The series will continue throughout the school year. All shows are in the Little Theater. Tickets are $5 at the door or $2.50 with a current Peninsula College Student ID card.
