Peter Stewart enters his seventh year at Peninsula as the winningest coach in Pirate men's basketball history. Under Coach Stewart, the Pirates have amassed over 110 victories and won 90% of their home games. Stewart has directed the Pirates to three North Division championships, has placed as high as third at the NWAACC Basketball Championships and is a two-time North Division Coach of the Year. He has 16 years of collegiate and professional coaching experience. Stewart also has vast international experience running basketball camps and clinics, including the Bobby Knight Hoop Camp. Stewart played professionally in the Western Australia State Basketball League, two years for Athletes in Action and was team captain of his University of North Dakota, NCAA Division II team. His coaching resume includes head coaching experience at the professional level in Australia, Malaysia and Canada, as well as the high school level in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He also served in an assistant at Adams State College, Minot State University and North Dakota State University Bottineau. Stewart is pursuing a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology, Sport and Leisure Science through Adams State College and holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota. Coach and his wife Julie have 3 children, Hannah, Elijah, Annika, and Aussie the lab.

Max Eding
Assistant Coach
Max Eding also started his collegiate career as a Pirate and also played a key role in back-to-back North Region championships. Eding went on to play at Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems. He now resides in Port Angeles and is employed at the Financial Aid department at Peninsula College.

Jason Robinson
Administrative Assistant
Jason Robinson enters his 6th season as a Pirate Administrative Assistant Coach. He is a native of Port Angeles, where is graduated high school in 1998. Coach Robinson received his AA Degree in 2000 and his AAS Degree in 2005 from Peninsula College. He is employed by First Federal.
