Head Coach Andrew Chapman has more than twelve years of coaching experience at the youth, high school, and college levels, six of which have been spent here at Peninsula College. Most recently, Coach Chapman was named to the coaching staff of the Kitsap Pumas, a professional soccer team in Bremerton that plays in the United Soccer League (USL). Coach Chapman is the assistant coach under Head Coach John Wedge and plans to continue his coaching and teaching duties at Peninsula. In addition, he spent two years as an assistant coach under George Hageage at the Division I Eastern Washington University. Since coming to Port Angeles, Chapman had received his National B license from the United State Soccer Federation, putting him among a select few of coaches in America. He also has his Advanced National Diploma and Director of Coaching Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.  Chapman was named West Division and NWAACC soccer Coach of the Year in 2007 after his team won the West Division title and finished fourth in the NWAACC.  Chapman was also named 2008 West Division Coach of the Year.  In the past four years Coach Chapman has posted a 45-28-14 record and has been in the playoffs all four years with back to back Final Four appearances (2007 and 2008).  Chapman has a Master’s of Science in Physical Education with emphasis in Pedagogy/Coaching and Sports Management/Administration from Eastern Washington University (2003). In addition  to coaching, he serves Peninsula College as Assistant Athletic Director and Associate Faculty.

Assistant Coach

Coach Tim Tucker is in his second year as an assistant for the Pirates. He is a 1987 graduate of Garfield High School, where he played four years of varsity soccer. He then went to Shoreline where he was team captain two years on the Dolphin soccer team. He stayed on to help coach the Shoreline club for one year, he served as junior varsity soccer coach at Eastside Catholic High School. Coach Tucker, who has an E License, has also coached in the Seattle Youth Recreation program at the U-16 level for nine years, prior to moving to Port Angeles, where he is employed at the Clallam County YMCA.

Following a four-year stint as an assistant coach at Peninsula, coach Anderson takes over the helm of the women's team. He is a graduate of Western Washington University (BA – English Literature) and Eastern Washington University (MBA – Rhetoric and Composition) where he played men’s club soccer. He also played in the NWAACC for Everett prior to transferring to EWU. He holds a National C coaching license, he coached high school boys’ and girls’ soccer at Cheney High School and has coached at numerous camps and clinics throughout his career. He joins the Peninsula College faculty in the summer of 2010.

Assistant Coach

Coach Petty played four years of varsity soccer at Port Angeles High School where she was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2004 and team captain in 2004 and 2005. She went on to win an NWAACC soccer championship as a member of the Clackamas Community College team in 2007 where she played center midfield. She is employed part time as an assistant to the Office of Athletics and Student Programs.
