Alison Crumb takes over the helm of the Pirate women’s basketball program where she began her collegiate campaign following an outstanding career as a Port Angeles Roughrider. She played two years for the Pirates, leading them to Peninsula’s only division championship in women’s sports in 2005, when she set a school record for assists. She went on to play at Western Oregon University where she got her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature. She returned to Peninsula as an assistant coach under Julie Stewart and was then promoted to the head coaching position when coach Stewart stepped down. In addition to coaching the Pirates, Alison teaches part time and advises student athletes.

Brooke Helpenstell

Brooke Helpenstell enters her coaching career following a remarkable playing career in Port Angeles. She was an outstanding multi-sport athlete at Port Angeles High School and then played two seasons for the Pirates, helping them to the playoffs her sophomore year, averaging 13 points and seven rebounds.
