AAS Transfer Degree

Often students who have earned a professional and technical degree (AAS) decide later that they want to transfer to a four-year institution. The AAS degree is not designed to be a transfer degree because the coursework does not fulfill the general education requirements at most four-year institutions. However, some four-year institutions have designed programs to accommodate students with these degrees. These programs are often called upside down degrees, or 2 + 2 plans. Contact the four-year institution you plan to attend or Peninsula College Counseling Services for transfer assistance: (360) 417-6340. Click here for more information.
