Not Meeting Pace of Progression

In accordance with Peninsula's Pace of Progression policy, you are required to submit a signed academic plan for your program of study because:

  • You have not completed enough credits towards your program of study compared to the number of credits you have attempted.
  • You may have taken classes that were not required for your program of study; if you switched programs, we are required to count all credits attempted.

Your academic plan must be approved by an advisor and must demonstrate your plan to complete your program of study. You are required to complete your program within the time limit in order to continue to receive financial aid funding. The Financial Aid Office will check your registration each quarter. If you do not register for classes as shown on the academic plan you submitted, we must cancel your aid.

Pace of Progression is part of the Satisfactory Academic Progress policy. Click here to view the Satisfactory Academic Progress policy.

Pace of Progression is  something we are required to check for every student, in accordance with federal regulations. If you have any questions, please contact our office in person or by phone at 360-417-6390.
