COMPASS Testing
COMPASS testing has also been taking place in the Testing Center at Peninsula College, both in Port Angeles and in Forks. If you are currently enrolled in the Upward Bound program and have not yet taken your COMPASS test, you will need to set up a day and time to take this test. The COMPASS exam is an untimed, computerized placement test that will enable Upward Bound staff to evaluate your skills and place you in appropriate summer courses and inform tutors of your content area needs. There are no right or wrong answers. Every college student takes this test and it serves as a baseline to place you in appropriate English and math classes. Here is a link for sample COMPASS questions: http://www.act.org/compass/sample/index.html.
